If there's a competition for the saddest looking dog, I'll bet this fella would win .. hehe ..

Hmm ..

I was driving towards PJ today from Serdang ... this particular sliproad is never jammed with traffic at this time of the morning ... but ..

Anyways .. saw this advertising board ... my first thought was ..... surely someone would have had to ACTUALLY proof-read it before they put it up .... right?

Ok .. maybe whoever was proof-reading it didnt realise it .. but what about the advertising agency?? Shouldnt they have pointed out that the sentence was incorrect?

Well ... guess it doesnt matter if it's a mistake .. as long as it's BIG enough for everybody to see ... hehehe ..

I'm better now ... phew ..

I've been really sick.

Really.

Actually I've been having this chronic cough for some time ( hmm .. now that I think of it, almost 2 months ) and it got really really bad the other day ... bad enough for me to go and see the Doc for some medicine.

I wouldnt even have considered going to see the Doc except that I woke up the other day coughing so badly I felt as if my lungs were practically coming outta my mouth .. guess that's also one of the reasons why I quit smoking.

Anyways .. after asking some questions and giving me the once over, Doc promptly declared that I either had contracted tuberculosis ( WTF? TB?? ) or bronchitis or maybe H1N1 ( except that I didnt have a fever ) .. but to be sure Doc put me on a course of antibiotics and some other yucky stuff I had to take for 5 days ... and if my condition didnt improve, it's XRAYS and off to see a Specialist.

That was one week ago.

I'm glad to say that I can breathe so much more easily now .. my cough is almost gone .. and my chest doesnt hurt anymore. So I guess it was just a lung infection.

I practically spent the entire week in bed .. just dozing in and out of consciousness ( the antibiotics were really strong ) .. only getting up to go to the bathroom and have my medicine. I didnt even feel clear headed enough to eat anything except some soups ..

But hey, I feel so much better now .. and actually am looking forward to going back to work ! I just hope I can remember who to call and who to follow up with .... maybe I can blame it on residual effects of the antibiotics if I forget ... hehe ..

Monthly Blues?

So I've been really really busy these past few months .. in fact, it's been events and shows as well as my daily duties .. come to think of it, I've been working almost on one Sunday every month without fail since I've joined this new company.

Not that im complaining, though.
It's been really interesting though I wish I could have more time to do my own stuff.

My friend from IPOH says to liken it to her monthly blues .. you get it once a month and though you may not be too comfortable during that period, it's something that's needed.

I'll remember that the next time I gotta work on a Sunday.
Heh.

It's Friday !!

And guess what ... I DON'T have to work this Sunday .. seems that it's the next weekend that I've been assigned to do some stuff and NOT this weekend .. but hey, that's a WHOLE week away ..

Let me put it this way ... your weekend is over .. it's Monday morning .. you get stuck (again) in the infamous traffic that every Monday is famous for ..

You get into your office and hope to get through the week .. knowing that somehow it will be a Friday and the weekend again .. only to be told that you have to work this Sunday ..

I hate Mondays.
Really I do.
